Quest Diagnostics bill
Why are they sending me a bill now for something I had done last November?  That's 7 months ago.

Perhaps it took that long for your insurance company to process and apply payment to your account and Quest is now coming to you seeking the remainder of the ballance?

could very well be because they've submitted and resubmitted to your insurance co and gotten nowhere....unfortunately, we do that at my office too. It stinks.

got them too and heres the kicker they sent me bills for services my insurance PAID!! I got a copy from my insurance company, so anyway I ignored them b/c hello they got paid- well a collection agency sent me a letter so we faxed them our copies of the PAID invoices and let them have it. They stopped sending us letters!

I get 3 bills on the same day for the same date of service and then the next week I got a letter that this is the 4th notice and now I'm being considered for collection, it gets worse, it was for $6.10

we do this at my office too make sure the lab you went to sent it out to a lab that accepts your insurance this can be the blame...
