queens girls and beaches?
What beaches are nearest to you?
Jones Beach?
I'm in the whitestone area and don't know where to go. I am not familiar with any beaches around here

we have acabana at atlantic beach but its teh far end of the long beach strip. Also rockaway is not far either.

When I lived in Queens, we went to Long Beach. Don't know if its necessarily closer, but I just liked it better than Jones and any other beach.

I lived in Whitestone and always went to Jones Beach - with no traffic it was only about 30 minutes away.
There is a private beach in Whitestone for residents of Whitestone but its only good for sitting in the sun because I wouldn't step foot in the water.

omg...I used to go to the private beach in Whitestone alll the time when i was younger since my g-parents lived in wstone and went there allll the time!!

and- dumb question ...I thought lido beach was a part of long beach?
