Queens County Farm Museum
Anyone ever been here? Can you tell me about it?
We were planning on checking it out but I seem to be getting mix reviews online about it.
So what exactly is this place and what is there to do?
TIA

We haven't been in a long time but my kids liked it when they were younger. They have a bunch of different farm animals and some exotics like peacocks. I can't remember if you can feed any of them or not.
You can buy fresh eggs that their chickens laid, and sometimes they have veggies for sale that they grew.
It's free, so as long as it kept them entertained for a little while I was happy. I'd guess we'd spend 1.5-2 hours there when we'd go.

Normally we love going here, but we went last wek and there were barely any animals.
FYI to the the PP, they got rid of the peacock. Normally they have cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats. It's free during the week, most days the gift shop and farm stand are open. Some weekends they have events that you have to pay to enter. The schedule is on their website.
On the Green Meadows side (which you have to pay to enter) they have pony rides and hay rides and other animals, such as llamas and baby chicks.

We went a month ago on a weekend. My kids had fun, but they are young. We went on Julian's first birthday. Aidan (almost 3) enjoyed looking at the animals and walking around. We also went on a hayride which both boys enjoyed. Green Meadows was closed so we couldn't go in. Both boys fed sheep. We saw pigs, sheep, cows, chickens and I think ducks.
