Q About Lot Size on MLSLI
When I browse houses I usually look at the lot size. I'm fine as long as it says "1 acre or .5, .25, ect" But when it tells me "120x100" for example, what is closest to an acre? I usually just look at the homes that have the highest numbers.
Did this question make any sense?

Re: Q About Lot Size on MLSLI
An acre is approx 43,000+ sq ft.
So if the lot is 120x100, than it's a total of 12,000 sq ft., which is about .3 of an acre.

Re: Q About Lot Size on MLSLI
an acre is 43,560 square feet
if the listing says 100x120, then you multiply those two numbers and divide it by 43,560, and that will give you the acreage
ex:
100x120 = 12,000sf
12,000 ÷ 43,560 = .28
