Re: Puzzles for a 7 year old?
I would say higher since my 4 year old can do a 48 piece with a little assistance.

A 7 yr old should be fine with a 100 piece puzzle.

It depends if he does puzzles regularly. If he hasn't done them regularly, I would purchase one or two 48 puzzles and one 100 piece puzzle.

Re: Puzzles for a 7 year old?
I'd say higher. My son is 7 and does 100 piece puzzles or more. But he gets easily bored by puzzles so he doesn't do them often. I have two on big mats on top of furniture that he started but hasn't finished!

Re: Puzzles for a 7 year old?
I thought 48 was too young. My son is 3 and can do a 24 piece puzzle.. I ended up returning it and got a 100 piece instead..
