Putting things in their nose and toe walking
Obviously 2 separate questions First DS keeps putting his food up his nose. Please tell me this is just a phase and how your DC grew out of this.
Also, DS has been walking since 9 months but all of a sudden this month just started toe walking. Has this happened to anyone else? He is going to be 17 months . TIA!

Sydnie is doing this also sometimes. She's also 17 months. I think it's just something they discovered but I wouldn't encourage it.
As for the food/nose issue...I have no clue I would imagine it's a normal phase.

Re: Putting things in their nose and toe walking
When you say toe walking, do you mean walking on tiptoe? I'm assuming so. I think it's pretty normal for kids to try it at some point--DS did it too at that age, though it was always done when he was doing different funny things while walking, walking backwards, sliding, etc. So in his case, it was just a fun new thing he could do.
As for food in the nose, it probably is a phase. I would tell DC no, we don't do that, but not make a big fuss over it. I think most unsavory things DS has done end a lot faster if we don't make a big deal about it.
