Purchasing a short sale..
Was just wondering ..when purchasing a short sale, when is the check for the deposit normally cashed?

I believe it was held in escrow (but cashed) by the sellers lawyers maybe two weeks after the contract was signed...they were slow too we thought it would be cashed right away......
