Puppy treats?
The foster mother who had my puppy before me told me to put some peanut butter in a hollow bone and she would love it. It's about a tablespoon that I spread in it. It keeps her occupied for a while and she loves it. I've been doing this like once a day, do you think it's ok to do that often? Any other suggestions of little tricks that puppies love?

I mix the PB with organic plain fat-free yogurt - supposed to be good for them. I put it in a Kong in the freezer overnight. The coolness helps with teething, and it lasts a lot longer that way.
I think once a day is fine, unless your pup seems to have runny poops in which case you might tone it down a little.

Oooh, really? Freeze it? How do you get it in the kong? Are they able to get it all out? Also do you think it needs to be organic or any yogurt? TIA!

Well, the breeder told me organic so that's what I've been using. I just mix them together til they are mushy and then spoon it into the Kong, which I place inside a plastic cup - small hole down. This holds the Kong upright while you freeze it.

Since we first got Bella I have been filling her Kong with her puppy food then sealing the ends with peanut butter and freezing it over night, and she loves it, the Kong is all cleaned out by the time we get home. She gets it 5x a week, and we never had a problem with the peanut butter.
