pumpkin picking
We took the boys apple picking 2 weeks ago, and we would like to go pumpkin picking next weekend. Last year we went to the fall festival at white post, DS was only 16 months old and we didn't feel like driving all that far. This year we want to go to a "real" pumpkin patch. We would be willing to drive all the way out east. I see Hanks Pumpkintown mentioned a lot on the boards, anywhere else? Harbes? Stakey's? Our older DS is now 2.5 and I know he is going to have a blast no matter where we go, but we want to make the long drive worth our while. TIA!

Re: pumpkin picking
We've been to Hank's 3 years in a row and love it. So much for the kids to do. Get there as early as possible though. It's much less crowded first thing in the morning.

Re: pumpkin picking
Drove by Lewins farm yesterday and the pumpkin picking was open. Finks Farm has their Fall Festival going on. It's not cheap, but they have quite a few activities and a good pick your own. PumpkinFest at the Suffolk County Farm is next weekend and is fun too.
