I do it in the morning when my supply is high, but can I do it for more? Most feeds? All feeds? I don't want to deprive DS but I love the idea of building up my freezer stash and adding in a separate pumping-only session is virtually impossible with my almost 3yo DD around...

If your DC gets full just on one side then I'd say you do as often as you'd like. But remember, it is supply and demand so your body is thinking that your DC needs those extra ounces and will continue to produce it. I would just make sure that you alternate breasts at each feeding so you're just pumping from one side.

Your body may think your feeding twins..which could be good since your stashing. I EP and drain both breasts 2x a day..i freeze 8oz a day and feed DD the rest.

Wait, totally off-topic, are you saying you only pump twice a day and are able to feed your DD on just that? You are a milk MACHINE!

Yes I am! I had to slow it down tho. I was making too much & my freezer is getting crowded. If I drink a lot of water & eat well I can get 14-16 oz in am & about 10-12 in pm..I know crazy. But have to slow it down..Im constantly hungry & my silos are hurting my back . Pumping def increased my supply.

As others have said; you can do it as often as you like. I only pump & nurse during the morning feed.
