pumping ? - do you have to completely dry all the parts?

I'm new to pumping (and motherhood for that matter ) and I've been pumping b/c DD sleeps through most of her feedings, so the bottle is easier. So I wash all the pumping parts in HOT soapy water after eaching session, but they are not completely dry before the next session, so I've been drying them by hand before I pump - given how small some of the crevices are, this can take a while - my question is - do I have to have all the parts completely dry before pumping?

Is it terrible if DD gets a few drops of tap water mixed in with her Breast milk?

I never did. If they weren't all the way dry, i still used them Tap water isn't bad, my PED actually prefers us to use tap water when we give formula :)

Nope. I just let everything air dry and give each piece a shake before I use them.

I let them air dry & then shake them out...a little water never hurt anyone! Congrats by the way.
