Pug allergies
Mu Puggie is starting to have bad allergies. His eyes are oozing, he's constantly sneezing and his skin between his paws is inflamed. He's been to the vet and has special eye drops and has been given cortisone shots which has helped. Is there anything else I can do on a daily basis to help alleviate the allergies?? My poor Puggie seems uncomfortable. TIA.

Re: Pug allergies
I have a beagle, but we have similar allergy issues here too. We have the eye drops and she also takes amino acid pills.
My vet won't give the cortisone shots (we've had one) unless it is REALLY bad and she hasn't had one in a while because she doesn't liek the side effects, but that was the one thing that really cleared it up.
Our vet said to try Benedryl and since we are pretty sure it is grass, to try to put her in a t-shirt if she is going to be playing outside (we have not done this though) and to make sure she gets a bath every two weeks.

Re: Pug allergies
my dog had the same allergies, we finally realized it was from the wool bed she used.
