Psychic House Party RANT
SO I hosted a psychic party at my home last night...or so I thought I was...
My sister booked a party from Marie Armone
We originally had it scheduled for last week but she called and rescheduled for yesterday. So fast forward to last night....
After she was ten minutes late my sister called
"Hi can I speak to Maria?"
"Hold on, i'll get her..."
HANGS UP
Then blocks our calls to her home phone! After we called a few times getting the machine, we get a recording saying "Im sorry this user is not accepting phone calls at this time"
We then call her cell a half hour later in which she ignores and sends straight to voicemail!!
We left numerous messages but received NO response. This was an Amazon Local Deal (similar to Groupon) so it was already paid for.
I had 10 people at my house, bought food and drinks and the women didn't even have the decency to call us back! I hope she was not paid already because she basically scammed us
BEWARE of her SCAM

Can you contact Amazon Local Deal and let them know this woman is a scam and hopefully get your money back?

Terrible business.
I'm surprised she didn't forsee what a bad reputation would do to her business. That's enough to ensure that no one I know would book a party through her.

I'm sorry this happened. I had an issue with Amazon Local Deals once. It took longer than I liked for them to approve my refund. If they do give you a hard time just be firm with then and push for a full resolutions.

That is terrible and sorry you had to deal with that!! I had a similar issue with a purchase I made on Groupon (with a totally different event) but when I contacted Groupon they investigated it and refunded my money. I'm pretty sure Amazon will do the same for you!

That's terrible.
I had a Psychic/Medium House Party a few years back and it was such a nice experience - don't let this sham put a bad taste in your mouth about others! There are a lot of great and legit people out there. What a shame that this person was such a con! I hope you get your money back - like other posters suggested, I would contact Amazon b/c that's just ridiculous.

She definitely has darkness under her eyes. You can see her profile from the link in my first post or from one of the links from the poster above.
Ughh I totally forgot about this post and now looking back, i'm still disgusted with her actions.
