Sorry if this is a repost - I only have a second and didn't have time to search and see if it's been posted beyond the 2nd page.
This is an email response to my query on a refund for the recalled products I now need to throw away (I had four ).

If you have product that is included in this recall, you should stop using the product. If you have medical questions or concerns, please contact your child's healthcare provider.
This recall is not being undertaken on the basis of adverse medical events. However, as a precautionary measure, parents and caregivers should not administer these products to their children. For information on disposing of over-the-counter medications, please go to www.smarxtdisposal.net. If you have any health concerns, we recommend that you contact your child's healthcare provider. Any adverse reactions may be reported to the FDA’s MedWatch Program by fax at 1-800-FDA-0178, by mail at MedWatch, FDA, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20852-9787, or on the MedWatch website at www.fda.gov/medwatch.
We will be happy to provide you with a refund check for your product. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your refund to arrive.

No link - just that smart disposal URL.
Shorty - did you take it to mean they'll just automatically send it out? I did detail exactly which meds I had but I don't remember if I gave my address.

You guys should try and return them at a store instead of waiting for the company to send a check. I took 3 Tylenols, 2 Motrins and 1 Benadryl back to CVS last night and they gave me a refund right then & there. When I called I was told that I would only get store credit, but when I got there, they gave me cash back. I got back about $52.

I first applied for a McNeill refund, then went to CVS to return them. Just to cover all the bases.
