Re: PSA - Key Bumping
Scary stuff...
I have an alarm on my house. Sometimes that makes me feel a little safer but really if someone wanted to get in they will always find a way... Even with an alarm.

Re: PSA - Key Bumping
We have Medecco too. Not sure why they are not susceptible to bumping but glad to know it.

Re: PSA - Key Bumping
Here's an interesting thread, mainly by professional locksmiths about bumping and Medeco locks: http://community.discovery.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/177106635/m/4741914658?r=6001958858
Seems like bumping is not a very practical method for breaking into a house. If bumping a lock is loud, why not just break a window? Most houses have a back window that is either unlocked, behind bushes, or in other ways easy to enter. Unfortunately, if someone wants to get into your house, they will. While it's good to take as many precautions as is reasonably possible, you shouldn't be paranoid because of one article or topic on the web.
