How long does AF usually last for you?
I'm going on week 2 now, with no end in sight. Last time I took Provera, I had AF for a week and it was normal. I feel this time around, it's very heavy and (TMI) clotty. Poor DH keeps asking me when I'll be ready to get back to business lol, not to mention I've hand unbelievably painful cramps this time, so I'm wondering if this is the "norm" for everyone, and I just lucked out the first time.

Re: Provera Users
I would def call the dr if its been that heavy for that long. I had an incident the first time I was put on Provera and I ended up in the hospital for a week. It doesnt sound like you are hemmoraging like I was but 2 weeks is a long time for it to be heavy like that.
Good luck

Re: Provera Users
Last time it was about 8 days....I hadn't had AF in 2 months so they said it was going to be a long time since my lining was so thick.
But 2 weeks sounds really long, I would call the Dr

Re: Provera Users
Thanks ladies.
It seems to have slowed down, so hopefully this is the end of it. I called my RE like you all suggested, and she explained that since I had such a long gap between cycles, that my lining was very thick, so it was going to be longer than a normal period to flush out my system. Thanks again
