PROVERA please help...
I started provera because i never got af..I got it once I took 2 pills so I guess it was coming on its own...I continued to take the pills like dr said, i have 5 left..
My question, is taking provera going to prevent my form oing if I dont take the clomid too...should i stop taking the 5 pills left...how does this all work?

I believe all Provera does is bring on AF... it won't prevent you from Oing at all. It just helps you start a new cycle.
I'm not sure if you should continue taking the pills or not, I would ask your doctor.

the way provera works it that its provides your body with synthetic progesterone. then when you stop taking it, the progesterone drops. so your body's natural reaction to that is to shed the uterine lining - so you get AF.
that being said if you already have full flow AF and have five provera pills left - i would just stop taking it. obviously im not a dr. but since its usually the time after you stop provera that induces AF, since you already have it - i dont see the purpose in finishing the script. obviously you should talk to your doctor about it - but i personally would stop taking it if AF is normal flow.
provera has nothing to do with whether you will O or not. it's almost like the reset button - which is technically what real AF is as well.

I just thought that I would get AF again and not o if I continued, dr said to srop taking and start clomid, i was gonna take a cycle off but I guess im not...started clomid again, one more shot....thanks...
