Awhile ago I was asking if I should put my dd into the pt prek through the SD or the 5hr program at a catholic school. I was concerned because she receives OT and speech.
She is flourishing at the catholic school. I'm so glad I pushed for speech and OT last year. She's testing out of speech in early Nov, her speech teacher said she could test out now but she's working on some slight issues so might as well finish it and dd loves going. She's still working on her hyper ways but she gets star stickers almost daily at school and she's so much more aware when she's hyper. She can cut with scissors, she traces, she is writing her name, she colors almost completely in the line, she can draw circles, lines, etc. Her letter and number recognition has increased tremendously.
And the best thing is she LOVES school. I'm just so proud of all the progress she has made and she is no proud of all the stars and smiley faces she gets on her work at school.
Just needed to gush for a moment.
