Promotional Business Stuff??!?!! Need opinions!
The company I work for is trying out a new marketing scheme for 2008. We are trying to get some ideas!
When you get promotional stuff from companies, is there anything that sticks in your mind that was memorable?
It could be coffee mugs, pens, pads of paper, etc!
What are your favorites?
And, if anyone can recommend a company that has decent prices, that would also be appreciated!

I order all of our give aways for trade shows. We order from 4imprint. I like them alot - never had a problem. They send you tons of samples to see the product up front and work w/ you on art.
We have gotten bags, tape measures (we sell fabric) and more from them.
I also have a co. that does great customer chocolate bars - she's in NJ. I just did 1000 bars with her and the labels looked great & the customers love it. We say "a sweet thank you for your business" and the logo w/ our website and more.

Because the people can use them and others will see the products as well since all three could be on a fridge as well.

I like tshirts or edible things...Chocolate bars, etc. Or bags. Bags are really cheap (the thin material tote bags) but if it's an event with tons of tables people always use them to put the giveaways in.

I always use Concepts Unlimited for work, tell Jonathan that Rebecca from Kaplan recommended you. He is local and the stuff comes really quick, plus he doesn't make it order the normal minimums, he has good relationships so he can get you less of things.

He has everything you could want, even if it's not on the website and can give you different pricing for each item.

Hi..
this is what I do for a living.
How I guide my clients depends on the regular basic marketing questions:
1) company- what is your brand image & message you are trying to convey.
2) do you have any taglines, color schemes, or themes that need to translate into the promotional piece.
3) who is your target audience- a promo geared towards a mostly woman oriented industry vs. a high-tech industry vs. a finance industry should all be different.
4) what is your budget per item and your time frame (when do you need to have the promo item in hand).
Once you have those questions answered, i'm sure there is a promo item that would fit your need perfectly- if you need more help, feel free to email me.
