I think laura is being a jealous witch....how does she know if jeffery worked all day and all night just so he wouldnt be stressed at the last minute??????
I know I would do everything to finish as much as possible so the last few days would be as stressless as possible

I agree to some extent. I think of the final 4, Laura's work is always the most polished, the most meticulously put together. Even she had finishing touches to be made...heck, not one "final 3" ever just sat around doing nothing those last 5 days. It seems a little suspicious...
Anyone have predictions??
I *want* Michael to win...but he's the youngest and they will probably find him "too green". Uli's collection looks  soooo typical. Laura's looks very glamorous and well put together - just not sure if it's youthful and different enough. I think Jeffrey's is the most current - as far as what's "in" in fashion right now and if they don't disqualify him, I think he's going to win. Which I think svcks b/c I think he svcks.

I have mixed feelings about Jeffrey. I think he's putting on a front with his attitude a lot of time. And the look on his face and the reaction once Laura told him what she told Tim Gunn, I kind of felt bad for him.
Unless, of course, they find out he did have outside help.
That scene from next week, with Uli hugging him and him hanging his head... I can't think of another reason for that, unless he's disqualified.
Does anyone know for sure if he showed at Fashion Week?

But didnt Jeffrey say he sent two pieces out to be pleated? Isnt that all ready an admission of guilt? I thought all the work had to be hand made, no?

Last year Santino sent out his feature gown to be pleated and it wasn't an issue.
I think what he said makes sense about having time to do the work as to the best of his abiity, 24 for hours to design and produce a garment by hand is not that much.

That's what I tink too. I thought maybe he hung his head down out and cried in relief - b/c he was exonerated. But, who knows! LOL

I agree-- they wouldn't have shown that if he was indeed DQ'ed.
Also, in NY Mag a couple of weeks ago that bit about Laura and Tim made it into the Intelligener column-- the way that it was presented was that it was a a convo that Laura had with Tim-- not on camera and part of the show. I think that he did ultimately end up showing at Fashion Week.

Yes, he does-- I saw pictures of all 4 collections, but they could disqualify him from winning after show, or let him show anyway as a decoy.
I think its fine, I think his hug/cry was one of releif.
His work on the show was never criticized for beign sloppy and that was with 2 days to work, , so I wold imagine with 2 months he could make it perfect.
He also aways just had an idea & stuck with it--he didn't spend a lot of time changing his mind, so that could also give him more time to work.

There's nothing stopping him too, from including things he had made previously, before the show even started. Those leather items sure fit into his "style". They just have no way of knowing.

That's true for all of them really. I think that's why they have to submit receipts.
