progesterone supp question
Ive been on endometrium (?) supps twice a day since 7 dpo. I have never taken them before. I have a few questions that maybe someone can help me with...
1) Will AF come while I am on these or after I stop if I get a BFN? If I have to wait until I stop, generally how long until AF comes?
2) Ok, I may be crazy and freaking myself out, but I woke up this morning with AF-like cramps (11 or 12 DPO)... I took my progesterone later today bc I slept late. After I inserted the progesterone, the cramps went away. Could this have been my period coming bc I was late taking the progesterone? I havent tested yet, but now Im thinking it will be a BFN.
Thanks for listening to my questions. Kate

Re: progesterone supp question
I don't necessarily have an answer for ya, but until a Beta you can't really tell anything. I find I get crampy with progesterone way before AF is due. You could also have been crampy from implantation, although I read that is not common for all women to experience. After my failed IVF, AF did not start until I stopped progesterone.
Hope this helps. I hope that you get your BFP!

Re: progesterone supp question
AF won't come at all which is unfortunately very annoying.
I was on it 3 times a day myself. Usually you don't get your period until several days after stopping the supp. For me it was about 2 days but i'm pretty sure it varies.

Re: progesterone supp question
I always got AF on time when I was on progesterone. Everyone is different. Progesterone can definitely give u AF symptoms.
