Progesterone Question
Hey Girls,
I just had a question about Progesterone. Dr Braverman suggested I take it 2 days after getting a LH Surge on the Ovulation Tests. I am on CD 15 and still did not get a surge, Is it possible I missed the peak on the test?? My last cycle was 28 days??
Also, If i go as far as CD 20 and still do not get a Peak reading, should I just start taking the progesterone and assume I just missed when I ovulated????
I def want to take the progesterone and If I take to soon before ovuatlation- it can screw with my cycle.
Is there any harm in taking later in the cycle ( around CD 20-25) a few days before AF, incase I do get my BFP??
Sorry for all the questions. The darn OPT never seem to work for me.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Re: Progesterone Question
Not exactly in your sam situation, but just wanted to respond, in case I could help. Dr. B prescribed me progesterone suppositories, and to start the day AFTER my (first) IUI. There was a mix up at the pharmacy and I was not able to get them till 3 days after, he told me, no biggie, it didn't matter when, but the earlier in my cycle the better. It is suppose to help with thicking up the lining and making it easier for it to implant. He told me to insert one every night till my first BETA, so im guessing it safe after BFP. Of course, I would say CALL Dr. B, or shoot him an email. Better safe than sorry GL!!! He is very good about answering emails via his blackberry !

Thank you, that def helps to know if it is off by a few days, that's ok! I will send an email to Dr B or his nurse.
I did finally get the positive on the OPK tonight, SO I will start the progesterone in 2 days.
