Progesterone and IUI
Asking for a friend of mine-
She just had an IUI this morning. Her last cycle she did b2b IUIs, but didn't start her progesterone until a week later. Her levels were low, so she was on 2 Endometrien everyday up until her beta.
She forgot to ask her doctor, and the offices are closed. She can't go in for a second iui tomorroe due to work, but she wants to know if she should just start the endometrin tonight, or wait until her next blood test.
I told her I'd ask you ladies because I always started them on 7dpo.

Re: Progesterone and IUI
I'd go in for testing around 4-7 dpIUI to get my progesterone levels checked. If they were low, I'd then get supps.

Re: Progesterone and IUI
My levels were never low up until my last 2 IUIs. First time it was low, I found out 7dpIUI and started endometrin then. For the 2nd IUI, the Dr. started me on endometrin 1dpIUI and still went for blood 7dpIUI to make sure it was good. But that was just that particular Dr. The other Dr. & Nurse said it could have waited until 7dpIUI to check. Levels change all the time. Just because it was low once, doesn't mean it will be low again.
Were her progesterone levels alway slow during her LP? Is it an ongoing thing?
I would call and ask a nurse what to do. Don't want to medicate when you don't have to.

Progesterone and IUI
My friend ended up taking one last night and called the nurse this morning. She said it couldn't harm anything, but to normally she would begin taking them at 3dpiui. Now I'm wondering if I should do the same- I've always been told to start them 7dpiui.
