Professional re-upholster or DYI?

I have a Queen Anne chair that is in desperate need of a re-upholster.

Any recommendation on a professional company? Suffolk or Nassau is fine.

Or it this something I can tackle myself?

Personally, i wouldn't tackle something like that myself, but i'm not too crafty so i know i wouldn't do a good job!

I know the Fabric Mill in Plainview does re-upholstering, you could try there

I think you could DIY - does it have fabric on the arms? That's the only place I could see having an issue...

I got 2 chairs done at The Fabric Mill - they came out great.

I have a Queen Anne chair like this that I'm going to re-upholster myself. I watched some Youtube videos on it: you basically unscrew the seat, pull new fabric tight over it, and staple around with a heavy duty staple gun.

This kind of chair?

if its just the seat, its usually very easy. if its the arms or back and front of the seat back, its really hard to do.
