Product Rave- The Woombie!
Ok so I've mentioned this product a couple times on various threads, and after mentioning it on 2 different threads today, I felt like I should just make a thread telling everyone about it because it is GREAT! My son has been a great sleeper since very early on- we used the Swaddle Me since he was born, but he always hated his arms being stuck down at his sides, so he had to be very sleepy (or asleep) to let us put him in it. Then we found out about the Woombie and started using it when he was about 2 months old. The very first night we used it he slept 2 hours longer than usual, and has continued that pattern (He sleeps 10-11 hours a night and he's now 3.5 months old.). What's great about it is that is virtually impossible to get out of it (even for my Houdini son!!), and it's tight and cozy while they still are able to move their arms and legs because of the stretchy fabric. It's supposed to mimic the feeling of being in the womb (hence the name). Here's the website: Woombie Hope some of you will find this as helpful as I did!!!

Awwww, it's like a baby straitjacket!  Looks cozy! I will definitely keep it in mind if DS decides he likes being swaddled. My DD always hated it.

I'm sold
Worth a try, we swaddle with a big square flannel blanket, but I think it will get too hot for the warm summer nights.

I just ordered one, I figured it will be good for when we try and transition her from swaddling, and if it doesn't work I only spent 50% for what it retails.

Just so you know, SwaddleMe makes them now! They are called SwaddlePods and they sell them at BBB for $11.
I tried them, they didn't work for us (DD got her hands near her face right away and could not get to sleep, she needs the regular SwaddleMe) but they look like the exact same thing as the Woombie.
