probably switching bottles

Okay, so I have debated switching from my dr. browns for a while now...but if I have never heated them in a bottle warmer or microwave do you think it is necessary?

I warm her bottles in a chinese soup container with some warm water. I do use the dish washer or the lowest heat setting.

What do you think?

Re: probably switching bottles

I just got the dr. brown's bpa free bottles. I just let his bottles sit in warm water for a few seconds to keep the chill out.

I didn't want to switch to glass - but since Dr. Brown's now has the BPA free I figured I may as well (even though he won't be on bottles for that much longer probably!)

Re: probably switching bottles

I posted something similar the other day. I've been using The First Years Breastflow. I never heat the milk in them (I heat in my Medela storage bottles) and even then it is only in water. I switched anyway to Born Free plastic (but bpa free).

I made the switch more for my piece of mind than anything else. I feel like it is one less thing to worry about... for now!

I use Dr. Browns and won't be switching. I don't put them in a warmer or microwave either...just slightly warm them in a cup of hot water to get the chill off.

I got everything BPA free, just for my piece of mind.... who knows what degree of warming (even if it's in warm water) will let the BPA run rampant....
