probably a stupid question
So I got an email that at 13 weeks, the baby can begin to hear when you talk or sing to him/her. So cool!
My question is, I teach 8th grade in a HORRIBLE city school and my classes are insane. I have to YELL a lot to get them to shut up and start class and during class. I try not to, but sometimes it happens.
Am I going to be terrifying my baby???? NOw that she/he can hear me, I dont want her hearing me yelling like a madwoman all the time. LOL Is this a stupid thing to worry about?

Re: probably a stupid question
Definitely not something to worry about. Everything sounds completely muffled and quiet in there -- especially right now! Plus the more the baby gets used to noises while on the inside, the easier a time you'll have when she or he is on the outside -- doing things like running the vacuum while he/she is sleeping, etc. I went to a wedding at 19 weeks where the music was INSANELY LOUD to the point that I had ringing for a day after and I was SO scared, but my doc said not to worry about it at all.

Re: probably a stupid question
hahhaha Thanks! I knew it was an irrational fear.
I thought 13 weeks was too early for that, but that's what the daily email said. Who knows!

i'm telling you ... you will get an email each week saying "baby is starting to hear"... and your going to be like... I thought that was last week. 10 weeks later and the baby is still starting to hear.

You would probably sound like Charlie Brown's teacher.
Nothing to worry about!
