Private room at Winthrop
How much additional is it? Also does the baby stay with you the enire night. My paperwork states that they bring the baby in for each feeding ...including nights ones.

I had Andrew at Winthrop in May 2004, so I am not sure if anything changed. I had a private room and it cost us an extra $200 per night. I was there 4 nights for a c/s and it was worth every single penny! I hope to do a private room again for my second.
They did take the baby back to the nursery and brought him out for feedings, the time frame depending on if you are BF or FF. Although you think it would enable you to catch an hour or two of sleep, you don't. Nurses are coming in all night to take your temp and such.

I wanted a private room because I had a c-section...but there weren't any rooms available. So I saved myself 1000 dollars (200 a day) and roomed with other girls.
