Price of children's entertainment
I would like to hire "ELMO" for an hour for DD 1st birthday party. I'm getting prices like $495 for 1 hour. Is that what these things really cost? I was thinking its more like $150 - $200....
eta: I'm in Putnam Valley (not LI)

For my DD B'day party 2 weeks ago, I paid $225.00 for an hour. 1/2 was a clown the other 1/2 was Elmo.

Thats WAY over priced!! We payed $215 for Julia's 2nd b-day party for Kimbo to come, and we also had them bring a cotton candy maker, and other fun stuff for the kids in the package deal.
