preventing cold sores
What's your trick for preventing them? I'm not asking what you do when you start to feel one coming on. That's usually different. To prevent them, I have always taken Lysine. I think that worked for a very long time but not anymore. I have been very run down all winter and I have had an unbelievable number of cold sores. I get very fatigued before I even have any other signs that I am getting one. I am doing all sorts of things to try to boost my immunity, prevent colds, etc. I don't know what else to do.

Do you use a lip balm...Blistex and Herpacin makes ones that are suppossed to help prevent them. I find keeping my lips as moist as possible helps.
