Pressure at only 22+ weeks - normal in 2nd pregnancy?

Hi all,
This is my 2nd pregnancy.
I will be 23 weeks this Friday and am already feeling a bit of pressure down there...seems early for that compared to my last pregnancy...is this normal?
They did tell me at my Level II this baby is very long/tall so I guess that could be why.

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone else is feeling this way?

TIA!

Not sure if i have what you're describing, mine is more of a pubic bone pain..mine started at 25 weeks and is still here in full force at 35 weeks....i hope you don't have what i have because i have been MISERABLE for the last 10 weeks...Doctors all said its very common in second pregnancys. Joy!!!

ugh joy!!!
i had that definitely closer to the end with my 1st...they told me she was sitting SO LOW and all that pressure/pain was from that.
not actually pain yet but definitely pressure. i did have that pain the other day but i was literally up and on my feet all day so once i rested up it went away. i realize i'm not wonder woman and have to start to take it a little easy. it's def harder this time having an almost 2 yr old to chase after.
thanks and hope you feel better!

I get that too! I thought it was strange because it seemed so early (i'm only 20wks) but at my sonogram you could see the baby had it's feet all the way down into my cervix almost! So, it made sense why I felt the pressure.

gotcha! i'll have to ask my OB at my next appt how low the baby is or if any part of the baby is down that low.
thanks!

I'm 23 weeks, too, with my first (I'm a week ahead of you as my weeks start on Saturdays). I have had that feeling for the past 2 weeks, and the only way I can describe it is the feeling I get when I get a pap smear - the scraping of the cervix. I had my monthly appointment yesterday and mentioned it to my doctor, she didn't seem that phased by it. I am measuring on the larger side so that might have something to do with it. I talk to other pregnant women and they all have had similar feelings.
