Pressure?
I just started feeling "movement" within the past week or so (I'll be 18 weeks on Friday). Those little "thumps" are so cute now, but I'm a little nervous that they will quickly turn to "OUCH!" 
Anyway, every once in a while I'll get a few seconds of what feels like pressure right in the middle of my abdomen, down low. I'm sure it's movement- this kid is probably turning around and what I feel is pressure is it's little tush pushing against my uterus. 
Has anyone else felt this? It only lasts for maybe 5 seconds or so...

Yup... I am feeling that right now. Usually I have to go pee soon after I get that feeling. I always imagine the baby doing a backflip in there and the fluid sloshing around making the pressure.

YES! Totally - a back flip! I told my husband that maybe we have a cirque de soleil acrobat in here....

i was going to post something similar to this... thanks. i've felt a "pressure" /pain (not cramp)in the pelvic area, more so when (sorry for tmi)- if i go to squat to pee and lean forward - is this normal?

That's exactly when I feel it too! And it's not like I'm squishing the kid. It's more of the motion of squatting and standing up again.
Perhaps our babies are afraid of heights?

i guess its normal - ive noticed when i climb stairs with my big tote bag on the morning commute too - i'm going to ask doc at next appt. but i'm sure its normal - maybe its stretching?

Yes I get this too, at first I thought it was because I was standing or walking too long because as soon as I sit down it goes away....but it was definitely making me nervous. I'm sure its fine!
