Preschooler bedding (comforter question)

We just put our DD into a full size bed. I have the sheets, bug I don't like the "matchy" comforters and wanted something solid. I hate the idea of spending $$$$$ on a comforter at this age, cause at some point i am sure she will get sick in bed.

What do you have?

Re: Preschooler bedding (comforter question)

For DS, I found a solid comforter at Target for next to nothing! I still use his crib quilt as "wall art" and his curtains are solid, so I got a solid navy comforter. Down the road, I'd like to get him a denim comforter, but for right now, the target one does the trick. I am sure with all the back to college bedding out now, you could find something to coordinate.

I have a duvet cover, and got the down insert to go inside. I think you can find solid duvet covers in a lot of places. Or, if you are crafty, you can make one from two flat sheets.

I like the cover idea, I guess these are things I've never noticed in the store....maybe I should get one for my $$$$ down comforter!
