Preschool vs/daycare

Kind of long but here it goes. My DD has been going to an in home daycare since she was 7 months and now her bother goes there as well. It is a small daycare and up until January it was my two kids another little boy about DD age (4) and the daycare lady's DD (1). Well this year DD started preschool 2x week and in January her buddy from daycare stopped and is doing preschool 5 days. So now my 4 year old is the oldest with her only playmates being her brother (1y/o) and the other child who is 1.

I feel like she doesn't have much stimulation and could be doing more if I added another day of preschool. My daycare is great and she does lots of crafts with DD but i just feel like she has no peers.

Should I just add another day of preschool even though it would switch up DD routine and she would have to stay for after care for 3 hours b/c my prents couldn't get her on Mondays like they do on the other two days.

Any thoughts or opinions either way???

Preschool vs/daycare

well just a thought but.. yes, I would rather my child have peer interaction. Its important as they seem to learn faster from eachother. Id add the extra day. Just my $0.02

Then again I think 4 is plenty ready to start going to 'school' full time since very shortly they will be in grade school.

Absolutely. I would recommend preschool 5x a week.

Our boys attend preschool with extended care for the afternoon. We love all the peer interaction. It is very well organized. Almost 4yo is in the Junior PK class and almost 2yo is in their toddler class.

I also think you should add more pre-k. It's good for your DD socially and she'll make friends her age.
