Preschool Moms-Holiday Gifts for Teachers
DD has 5 teachers. None of them are aides, they are all teachers. Two of them are the owners/directors but they are active teachers as well. They don't just sit at the desk or anything like that.
What do I get them all for the holiday?
4 women
1 man
The two owners are sisters, probably in late 20's early 30's. Married but no kids
One teacher I would say is late 40's, maybe 50. Seems like she's kind of a simple woman.
The other teacher is probably in her 40's but seems kind of "hip".
The guy is probably late 30's early 40's.
I'm at a loss.
Do I just do gift cards?
What is everyone else doing?

im doing gift cards for all my dc's teachers. My best friend is a teacher and i have a whole bunch of teachers in my family and they all agreed they LOVE getting gift cards.

that i havent figuerd out yet. Last year it was just my dd in school and she only had one teacher. This year both my kids are in school.Ds has two teachers this year and DD has one. I was thinking $20 each. Is that too much? Too little?

$20 Target cards and some homemade cookies for each teacher is my standard. I think $20 is perfect. If i got a $20 Gc from every student (even though i doubt they will), I'd be a happy camper.

I like to give Stew Leonards gift cards. After dealing with other peoples children all day, I feel they deserve it! Usually $10 each.

Last year I gave $25 target gift cards and Sarah helped me make them an ornament with her picture on it. In the head teacher's bag I also threw in a few packs of stickers since she gives the kids stickers every day as rewards.
For the specials teachers (library, music, art appreciation and movement) I gave $10 gift cards.

Last year we gave Nate's teachers, $25 AMEX gift cards and assorted candy in a gift bag. We also brought in holiday cookies for the rest of the staff to put in their break room.

For the holiday gifts last year I did $20 macys card with a nice Mikasa candy bowl filled with Hershey kisses. At the end of the year I got them some really nice bath and body works baskets.

As a former preschool teacher, I can tell you that we all loved
-Visa/AMEX gift cards
- Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts gift cards
- Target gift cards
- gift card to the mall
Basically gift cards are always a hit, but to be honest, my favorite thing I EVER got...was a card from a mother thanking me for taking such excellent care of her daughter. It was the sweetest card, and after 4 years, I still take it out every Christmas and put it up with our other cards, it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
