Prenatal Question
I was just prescribed a prenatal that has 1 mg of folic acid from the RE.
I was already taking just 1 mg of folic acid daily.
Do I stop the folic acid and just take the pre-natals now?

Since I have low iron and have had it basically my whole life, I also take a folic acid pill, but every other day!

Did the RE who prescribed the prenatals know about the daily vitamin you were taking? If not, I would mention it at your next appointment or just call their office to confirm. I don't think it hurts to take both, but I would still call.
