Prenatal Massage
DH still is hounding me for Christmas gift ideas. I feel like this is something I'd like to do down the road...
Who had one done that they liked and can recommend a place or particular service?

I only had one at around 20 weeks, but it was great. It was at Oasis Spa, on Park Ave and 32nd street. I used the table with the belly cut out.

Just as an FYI you can't use it until after you are done with your first trimester as it can cause miscarriages before then.

Definitely! He's like 'you won't be able to use it now' and I said 'But I'll really appreciate it and WANT to use it when I CAN.'

I had 2 this pregnancy (both as gifts and they really are great gifts). Both times I went to red door spa. My only problem was my recent one at 30 weeks...I was laying on my back for the last 10 mins (prior to that you're on your side) and even though the table back was on an incline it was not enough for me and I almost passed out...so I would suggest using it closer to 20 weeks

fatthead got me a gc to massage envy. i went to the one in farmingdale.
it felt soooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!! some didn't like the experience because you're on your side but that didn't bother me one bit.

I had an AMAZING one at Vianna hotel & spa! Went for a couples massage...and the girl I had was so great.

I was about to go on disability at 37 weeks because my back was so misaligned. I got a prenatal massage and it helped so much. I made it all the way to 39 weeks and DD still waited awhile to be born. I went to Elements in Smithtown. Very reasonably priced!
