Pregnant with a Toddler outside
Anyone else totally exhausted? Don't get me wrong... I LOVE this weather, but I'm due in 2 months and running around chasing a toddler outside stinks!! It's easier in the house with gates and he's confined. Now he wants to explore EVERYTHING. WE have a big backyard with a pool, lots of landscaping, rocks, little hills, etc... I was having a heartattack. He wanted to climb on the rocks, run to the neighbors, roll in the mud, etc. Thank goodness we live in a culdesac so it's pretty safe. DH wanted to open the pool this weekend b/c it's our first summer living at this house and wanted to make sure he did it right so now the pool is open and there were chemicals and stuff everywhere. Ok... vent over. Yes, love this weather, but exhausted.

I let him run around the yard like a loon to tire him out!

I wish I could, but there's too much dangerous stuff. He loves walking all over the rocks and giving me a hard attack

Re: Pregnant with a Toddler outside
I swear, I don't know how I'm going to deal when it gets hotter, I'm never hot, and now I feel like it's 800 degrees outside..Not to mention my legs this time around are killing me with the veins and everything that I can't walk too much bc they get numb...UGH!!!! I keep saying its not that much longer and thank g-d I won't be pregnant during mid July and August!!!

Re: Pregnant with a Toddler outside
yes!!! I hate bringing DS outside alone because he wants me to climb the swing set with him and go down the slide with him and he doesn't understand that I can't and has a meltdown when I don't

If I recall, you said previously that your pool doesn't have a fence around it?
If so, I'd start there..

No, it doesn't we're looking into it now. Just opened the pool this weekend so DH was cleaning it out and all. Just brought out DS on the grass area, but of course the pool is something new.

I would totally get one ASAP so that at least you can sit out there and let him wander around without having to run over to him.. not only to protect your son but to protect other people/children in the neighborhod.. to me that's a must with any pool..
