Pregnancy and Lovenox

Anyone on this drug? I start it on Friday, my doctor is going to show me how to do the injections. I'm a little nervous about it, I hate needles.

I've been on it for 5 months now!!! It's not bad at all. A really small needle. It does cause bruising so be sure the pinch the skin before you inject it and then compress after you are done. If you have any questions after she shows you, just ask!

Re: Pregnancy and Lovenox

I was on it throughout my first pregnancy and am back on for this one. The first week with ds it was hard but it is a piece of cake now. I just had to get passed the fact it would not hurt and then I was fine. Every now and then I get a bad spot but for the most part its painless. I personally like to ice before and after it helps keep me from bruising I am paler then pale so I show everything).

I'm on it..
honestly it isn't that that bad.. although I do find that over time the bruising and burning gets a little worse...

ice the injection site and you won't even feel it going in.
