Re: Pregnancy & your pets?

I had actually heard that cats tend to be more affectionate with pregnant women- I definitely noticed this when I got pg. The only time I worry is when she jumps on my stomach, otherwise I enjoy it!

Re: Pregnancy & your pets?

I read somewhere that you should just wash your hands after playing with your cat.. or any pet for that matter.

My DH has taken complete control of the kitty litter...

And the cat is on top of me every time I lay on the couch... just makes me crazy because she ALWAYS steps on my boobs and they HURT!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Pregnancy & your pets?

Yes, b/c 2 of my dogs are indoor only dogs in the winter. I was afraid to clean up their pee pads in the beginning b/c of all the ammonia. Dr said it was OK, but the bending actually worried herChat Icon .

My pets became very affectionate after my BFP, too. I think they know!

Always safer to ask your Doc though.
