Preggo lady here about to write a whiny post!

I am 9.5 weeks along and as silly and whiny as this sounds, I am kind of bummed about the way I "came out" to my family . With DD we had a special bbq planned on mother's day , told our whole immediate family at one time, it was all very "special" and emotional.

This time around, my mom accidently found out the same day I did before I even had a chance to tell DH, my DH told his parents the next day when I wasn't even with him to share the news , and my mom basically told my brother and sister in law last night over dinner before I was even ready to. I wanted to get DD a "big sister" tshirt and do something cute to "announce" our news to our family and I am kind of bummed that it didn't work out that way!

Anyway,its silly but this is our last baby, most likely, and I wanted it to be equally as special as the first announcement!

I can understand that ..even though we were able to surprise family this time around too...it still was not the same. and then my gender reveal wasn't as cool for me because the soon tech messed up (long story)

are you team green? maybe your gender reveal to family can be special? or maybe you can still video tape family talking about how excited they are for little one (its not a surprise video recording but more of an interview style on) def get your first a big sister shirt for some pictures. :)
