Preggo after m/c
Hi Girls!
I just got my BFP. I am so nervous b/c I had a m/c in November.
I am having strange cramps...I think they maybe gas..but they are several times a day...especially at night. Is this normal???
Those that were successful after a m/c...how did you get thru it??? (the beginning stages)
I have a doc appt tomorrow. I can't wait.

Re: Preggo after m/c
Congrats again
I got preggo with DD immediately after my m/c last year. I was a wreck!
My best advice and what I did, take it day by day, and before you know the days will turn into weeks and the weeks into months.
i used to go to bed and before bed everynight i used to thank god for the day he gave me with my bean and for one more day.
I didn't read anything online, sign up for anything and I was cautionsly optimistic.
I also refused to come in the dr's right away for a sono, i waited til i was 7 weeks so i could see a heartbeat.
My dr also ran a set of beta HCG's test to see ifmy levels were rising. Those put me a bit at ease, but the constant worry was there until i felt her moving.
My LIFESAVER-- I rented a doppler from storkradio.com, so whenever i would get freaked out, i would hear her heartbeat and feel so much better.
FM me if you need too, I totally know what you are going through
ETA: Try not to analyze everything you feel, it will only drive you crazy. Remember-early pg symptoms can come and go, in no way should you gauge the viability of your pg on that.
Gas pains, bloating, cramping are all normal in early stages of pg.

Re: Preggo after m/c
Hey. I also had a miscarriage in Nov (at 5wks 5days) & I'm about 6 wks pg now. In order to avoid stress, I'm not going to the dr until I'm close to 8 wks. Last time, I had to go in for so many blood tests & one day the #'s were up, next day they were down. It was stressful, exhausting & heartbreaking (especially when we went fot the ultrasound & nothing was there).
This time I'm not obsessing. As long as there's no blood or bad cramping, I'm just assuming everything is ok.
You have to do what works for you. How far along are you?
Good luck

Re: Preggo after m/c
Hi There. First of all- Congrats!!
I had a m/c in October at 6w3d. Right now, I am 7w1d. Its definitely nerve wracking- but you have to just think that you cant control everything. That is really what I kept trying to remind myself. I didnt do anything to cause a miscarriage last time- and if (god forbid), I had a miscarriage this time, there is nothing that I did wrong for this to happen.
I have a sono next week- and I cant wait!
Just take it easy and do what you have to do!! :)
Good Luck!!

Re: Preggo after m/c
Im in the same boat as you. I m/c in oct and got pg in November. Im in week 11 now and im still a nervous wreck. Like other said, i take it day by day. I still run to the br whenever i get a sharp pain or if i have a cramp, i just cant help it. I just try tp replay my dr telling me, there is no reason why this pg wont be successful. Good luck & COngrats!!!

Re: Preggo after m/c
Thanks ladies...I am trying to just stay positive.
Last time I m/c early about 5 weeks. I am just nervous for my beta results. Last time my numbers were low and I am just scared about it happening again. Although I feel completly different this time.
I am not reading anything online (except for stuff here). I just dont need the added pressure.
Your support really helps and I just want to say how much I appreciate it!!!!!
