Prefering one parent over the other
My 21 mth old DD is super attached to me when it comes to DH. For the past 2 weeks, she wants nothing to do with him.
She won't really let him do things like give her food, hardly kisses or hugs him, doesn't really want to play with him. He tried to give her pudding today, she would not even take that from him, but took it fine from me.
She is fine with other people we know. She is shy towards strangers, but otherwise does no act so "cold" towards people we know. Anyone deal with this?

DS is 23 months and is the same way right now. Hoping it's a short phase. I just try to encourage them to do things together as much as possible.

My 19 month old DS is the same way with me. He will only eat for me, he shows me affection, but not DH. He only allows me to put him to bed. It's hard for me to do anything without him.
Last night my husband stayed home with him while I went to dinner, he Cried until my DH friend showed up. My husband is convinced he hates him. I keep reassuring him its just a phrase.

Yep. My DD is 21 months also and has been showing preferences lately. Sometimes she pushes me away and only wants DH to change her diaper or open something for her. Other times she only wants me to. I think it's normal for their age.
