Pre-Qualify for Mort ?
Bought my house a few years ago and had a pre-qual while looking. Don't remember if I paid a fee for it but don't think so. And if it was I think it was refunded.
Anyhow, what's the deal nowadays?
Those online calculators don't seem right. It tells me I can't afford the mortgage that currently have. And obviously I am upgrading to a larger home that cost more.
Also, anyone with suggestions for someone who can give me a free pre-qual so I know what number I can possibly be looking at?

Re: Pre-Qualify for Mort ?
our pre-qual was free-we ended up not even using the bank we originally got our pre-qual from. We used powerhouse solutions in great neck. They were great

Mine was free as well and don't have to go with that bank.
