pre-making mashed potato spin-off question
i'd love to try the PW mashed potatoes.
i'd also love to make them ahead of time.
does this recipe lend itself to being made ahead of time?? i remember that there is cream cheese in it. is there a place in the recipe that allows for you to stop, put it in the fridge, and then finish it the following day?
*off to read her blog to see if there is any info on this question.

You can make the mashed pots ahead of time but don't add anything extra into it.. the day of, just add a little milk/hot water and whatever extra you want to add and it'll be just fine

Re: pre-making mashed potato spin-off question
i'm back from reading her blog... her recipe is perfect for making ahead!!
she says you can make them as much as two days ahead. that would be awesome. i can make them tuesday night. wednesday, i can make/prep other dishes, and make life easy on thursday.
since i'm not responsible for the turkey, this year, i'm a happy girl
