If your fron the Seaford area there is a store on merrick road that rents out tools and stuff like that. i can't think of the name but google tool rental on merrick rd

FYI:
If you rent one, you will likely get a gas powered one which is very powerful
If you buy a cheap one, it will likely be electric and not nearly as powerful.
So depending on what you need to powerwash, you need to keep this on mind. A house, a patio, or a very grimey deck, will come out better and waaay faster with a gas powered one.

you can also damage your property MUCH quicker and more efficiently with a gas powered one! so just be careful! as fun as they are to play with, they can literally cut skin fairly easily.

the cheap ones at costco and BJs don't work nearly as well as the ones you rent or can buy from home depot or lowes for about $399 (gas)
but like another poster said, if you are using the gas one, be careful. they will take your skin off, and if you use it near flowers it will ruin them. but they do a much better job. the electric ones don't have the power the gas ones do
ETA your original question, you can rent them at all in one in e northport and some home depots have them

We've rented gas powered ones from Ace Tools on Wantagh Ave in Wantagh. They are between Merrick Rd and Sunrise Highway.
