Powdered formula vs milk?
We are going on vacation soon...right at the cusp of changing over to milk...what do you think is easier on vacation, a baby that drinks powdered formula or milk?
Strange question, I know! haha

I think powdered formula, because you don't have to refrigerate it...just carry it on you and a few water bottles and make it as you go. For milk you would need a cooler bag, a fridge in the room etc.

powdered formula. you can easily bring 3-4 bottles worth with you in a small container for the day even if its hot out. If you do that with milk, you'll need a cooler and have to be concerned if it would last. Plus it would take up more space. You also dont know if shell get constipated - id wait until you get back

Will you be making the transition before?? The only thing I would suggest against is makign the switch there ...try milk before. My DS did not react well and had a very bad stomach on the milk.
as far as easy of travel....you can get milk everywhere and makign bottles was never an issue for me.
I think either is easy.

But on milk they are not drinkign it every 4 hrs etc. When we switched to milk it was not at the equivelent of the amount of formula....so you wouldnt need to pack milk whenyou go out for the day. Water or juice can be used for a drink

That's what I thought too, but wasn't sure if I was being silly. We have enough formula to last until then, so I will just start the transition after we get back!
Sorry again for the silly post...sometimes you just doubt yourself...
