Powder formula clumping
We had to change dd's formula to gerber good start soothe, which is only available in powder. The powder is clumping horribly in the bottles, and seems to be affecting dd's intake. My dh shakes the bottle like crazy, but it ends up frothy and still clumpy.
Has anyone else had this experience? Any tips? Tia!

Yes! I would mix up a days worth of formula and keep it in the fridge. Then use the bottle warmer. No clumps and so easy.

I never had clumps and always used powder. But it could be the brand of formula. I only used gentlest and then the target version.

Have you tried using room temperature water? I always used powder, but not that brand, with room temperature water and never had a clumping issue

Def. use room temperature water and get the Dr.Brown's pitcher. It is super cheap on amazon. That should help a lot.

Yes you have to use room temp water and we also use the pitcher. It's great!

I also used the dr. Browns pitcher. Munchkin also makes a small little blender that fits in the bottle. Mixed the bottle well with no clumps and few bubbles. Handy when youre only making one bottle.

Thanks everyone! We were using room temp water and I tried warm water today - not any better. I just ordered the dr. Browns pitcher!!

It might be the brand of formula. I use water that is chilled, straight from fridge and never get clumps.

A drop of little remedy gas drops after shaking immediately settled the formula

Powder formula clumping
I'm on my phone so it's hard to post links but Google munchkin formula mixer. This solved the clumping problem along with the foamy issue. It mixes the formula great.
