Powder formula bottles ??
Please help DH and I settle a disagreement...
if you have a bottle with 6oz of water then add 3 scoops of powdered formula is the bottle 6oz or 7 oz's???

6 oz. you added powder which will disappear into the liquid, you didn't add more liquid.

You should have asked him to MAKE the bottle and then looked on the bottle itself to see if the liquid increased by looking at the measurement line on the bottle! lol

It actually comes out to a little more than 6oz. I don't make 6oz bottles, but when I put 5oz of water and then the formula it's a little over 5oz in the bottle.

It does add an amount to the bottle, my DS uses similac and the label says if you want to make a larger amount use 23 oz of water and 1 cup of powder and it will yield 26 oz. The enfamil can actually tells the amount it adds but I don't have anymore
