potty training issues/help

DD is 2.5, has never gone in potty. this morning, she saw a pack of disney underwear i picked up for her, and wanted to wear. fine. we put them on, i take her to potty every 20-30 minutes or so. she had an accident this am.
then i left to work. she had another accident with nanny. at that point she got pretty upset -(was upset by first accident with me too) and askled nanny for diaper. BUT - a little later she told nanny she has to pee, and went on potty . now shes napping wiht a diaper.
so- if she wants diaper, do i put it back on? do pull ups? also - she has preschool tomorrow morning, what do i do? they will take her to potty. shoudl i send in pull upS? she will freak is she has an accident there- she very self conscious

I'm pretty new to this process. DS was using the potty once a day (he's 2) for almost 2 weeks, then all of a sudden, no more, or no more with me anyway. He did go with DH this weekend, twice. I don't think I've been bugging him about it too much, and definitely don't force him to go, and he doesn't care if I see him naked, so I don't get it.

But anyway, we haven't really progressed, and he asks for diapers, so he's still in diapers. I would keep her in diapers if she wants them at this point, and if hse starts having fewer accidents, maybe move to underwear then.

We just started 3 day potty and its GREAT! You do no undies or pants in the house at all...have a potty in the room shes in at all times. I tell him dont forget you have no diaper on. We were out all day today, I brought a tiny potty and took it with us, he used it in the bathroom. NO accidents...Oh when you go out so just loose pants, no undies...
